No posts for awhile...

Hello everyone. As you can see I've haven't been able to post at all lately and it looks as if it will be like that for sometime. We don't have internet in our new place, and it looks as if we may not get connected for sometime. Boo hoo! On top of that, it looks as if my mother in law's computer has gone on the blink because now I can't figure out how to even get the internet running.

Sadly my blogging will be put on hold for awhile...

In other news, all is well here in the city of roses. I'm enjoying Mexican family life since I haven't been able to start up any other social life yet. Depite my lack of "friends" it's amazing how great family is. We live in an apartment complex with Jaime's uncle in one apartment, we're in another and Jaime's dad lives just across the hall from us in another apartment. Jaime's dad comes over pretty much daily to take Oliver for a stroll to the park which gives me some sought after free-time. We also spend a lot of time visiting with Oliver's "cousins," the children of Jaime's cousins at his Uncle Javier's house when they come to visit. And of course there's always the Saturday lunch at his great-grandmother's house on Jaime's mom's side of the family.

I'm starting to get a little bored with the at-home mom thing, so I'm looking into outside options for keeping this mama a happy mama. Hopefully, I'll start a yoga class soon or maybe even a dance class at a nearby dance studio. Just something to get out of the house and meet people. I'm also looking into work options, but very slowly. I'm hoping for something super part-time. There's a Montessori preschool near our house that accepts kids once they're walking. So I'm hoping that Oliver will start walking soon and that they need an English teacher too! The main problem with starting to work is childcare, so that's why I'm making this move slowly. I hope to find a job that will provide childcare, hence the preschool possiblity, because otherwise I wouldn't be able to afford it. Or there's the possibility of having Jaime watch Oliver in the morning, for example for an hour or two. I'll keep you all posted some time from now...
